Environmental and Property lawyer joins Poole & Co
Prize winning Richard Glanville has joined Poole & Co. Richard gained his Master of Law Degree in Environmental Law with distinction from De Montfort University.
As well as being an experienced residential, commercial and agricultural lawyer for many years, Richard also has also acted for developers and private clients on a range of environmental issues. These include advising on brownfield development and dealing with contaminated land, explaining the ramifications of the existence of protected species and the Habitats Directive to Developers and individuals, reviewing Environmental Searches for Residential purchasers, reviewing Environmental Statements, advising a large undertaking dealing with breaches of its Discharge Consents, obtaining Environmental Permits, explaining the effects of a breach of a Permit and how to deal with the Environment Agency in such circumstances and drafting clauses on environmental issues for Landlords and Tenants.
Richard has an interest in Nature Conservation Law and is a member of the U.K. Environmental Lawyers Association. He is the author of articles on Environmental Law and rural issues.
